Guided iPhone scanning, quality checks, and sizing based on a brand's own rules.

HandMeasured, formerly GloveIQ, is a product of Black Hills, Inc. Our iPhone prototype turns a guided scan into hand measurements that can be checked against a glove company's own sizing rules. We're starting with sizing, then building toward product-specific fit and bespoke gloves.
Patent pending · Working iPhone prototype · Validation in progress
Glove companies use different measuring methods, size cutoffs, and fit standards. HandMeasured is built to calculate the dimensions a selected chart needs, then apply each partner's own rules. That gives us a clear first use while we continue the measurement and pattern work required for better fit and, ultimately, bespoke gloves.

A trustworthy size result also depends on a repeatable scan, proven measurements, the right brand rules, and clear handling when a hand falls between sizes.
Guided iPhone scanning, quality checks, and sizing based on a brand's own rules.
Anatomical landmarks, depth samples, and camera geometry used to derive metric hand measurements.
Validating dimensional outputs against careful physical measurements across different hands.
Translating brand measurement methods, size boundaries, and product requirements into usable rules.
Pat founded Black Hills, Inc. to build and test HandMeasured. The current work is centered on sizing tests with glove companies while the measurement and pattern work needed for bespoke gloves continues.
